Wont update

I love this app so much, my kids use it everyday. It is the best alphabet app I have found. Two things though.
-Will not update! I have been trying for two weeks and it just sits halfway through all day until I finally cancel it. Mostly its just annoying because of the notification that wont go away.
-LOWER CASE!!! Please!
